England's team was good enough to qualify for the second round. They just have a kark coach. Sturridge was the main goal threat but somehow towards the end was out wide left. Right after they scored sturridge had that shot, the keeper parried into the box but no one from England was there. Now if you chasing the game wtf are you not pushing up.

Stevie is not a dm anymore. He doesn't have the legs for it anymore. Johnson and baines are kark at defending. I haven't watched allot of baines but he just looks average. Less said about the keeper the better. The cb's look average at this level as well. They will most likely stick with Roy though.
This is by far the weakest side England has brought to the world in recent time

Suarez Suarez he's my man
If he can do it
England can't

:D

Hopefully the Poms don't make it through any other way.

Now to hope the Swiss trash the French tonight.

Other two games can go either way.

Wayne Rooney was stagnant and ineffective playing through the middle. England played much better the first game where the combinations were good. Sterling was ineffective on the wing and should have played behind Sturridge. Rooney should have played off the bench.

Rooney has been England's best player by a mile. Both goals are thanks to him.

The sooner Gerrard retires the better.

Totally unbiased opinion from a Liverpool Supporter. :D

And now totally unbiased opinion of a Arsenal supporter. :p

England were unbalanced with 4 forwards (rooney, walbeck, sturrigde, sterling) on the pitch. All of them conspired to lose the ball in midfield a few times. They needed someone to keep and distribute the ball. They should have started Wilshere, instead of any one of the 4 I mentioned.

Gerrard and Henderson play in a midfield three at LFC. Play together in a midfield 2 at the WC = fail.

Yes Wilshere's distribution, so good.

Of course you can. Stop the ball from reaching him. Unfortunately, Gerrard is a pretty average holding midfielder.

We're talking about a player that has managed to shine for a Liverpool side pre-2013/14 where he was one of two, maybe three quality players.

Suarez is a one man wrecking crew, that much is clear.

Suarez is going to be very popular when he gets back to the Premier League.

Wilshere is a fantastic player when he's on form, but he isn't currently anywhere close to that. He didn't do anything to warrant his inclusion in the squad or the starting XI. They should have taken Huddlestone imo.

Hodgson has been a good coach so far but he runs out of ideas quickly. Anyone could have seen that England's defence were shaky. He could have thrown on Jones to try and shackle Suarez or help out in front of defence.

Germany will make the final.

Italy and Netherlands - semi's at least.
My sentiments too. Germany is as solid as ever, as expected. Though the Netherlands must step up their game. This last one against the Socceroos was not good.
