Uh OH.....
Funniest thing just happened, I was nearing the end of my cap as I always do (bit slower this month for obvious reasons) when suddenly no pages would respond, with every link I clicked or address I typed in Firefox said "Document contains no data", well that sucked, so I was curious because this happened right near the end of my monthly 1mbit usage. So I decided to try the iBurst website, HEY it worked! Then I tried the iBurst heldesk website, HEY it worked!
So in my head I start thinking, OK so it looks like I've gone over my cap.... and no website OTHER than the WBS ones work..... So I figure I'll try buy 3Gb and not even recconect to see what happens (Kinda funny how the one website I need to use to buy more bandwidth is the only one that worked hey?
)
I have a firefox extention called 'refresh every', it lets you reload a page every X seconds, so I set it to reload a myADSL page every second, switch back to the bandwidth usage page where I will purchase the bandwidth, and as I click that purchase button, and i mean AS i TAPPED THAT SUCKER IN, the internet starts working!!
So either this is an extremly freeky coincidence, an extremly unlikley spooky coincidence or WBS have gone and started the rumoured 'pay per byte' scheme without telling anyone and ending the throttled to 64k things.
I'm just telling you what happened, draw your own conclusions.
