Hi

Since Vodacom seems unable to fix fix their 3G issues (or care, or come back to a person with the support calls logged) does anybody know how I can force my modem to use gprs settings on Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty?

I am using the default Ubuntu "Network Connections" to connect at the moment.

Thanks in advance

Thanks, only one problem though

"sudu apt get-install wvdial" does not work so well if I cant get any data down over my 3G connection and I'm not allowed to plug my private notebook into the company lan here. I will check it out from home later.

Thanks for the link again
