Hi guys!

Random question for you this morning...

I have a Ford Ikon 2014 model. I have no idea which model the radio is, it looks like a face-lift of the 6006cdc/6000cd.

Here is a photo of the radio:

I had some high quality speakers put in and they are much better than the standard sound, however there is really no bass at all coming from this radio.

I cannot find the LOUD option anywhere, does it even have one?

The options it lists are:
TAVOL
TA - ON
AF - ON
REG - ON
BASS
TREB
BAL
FADE
COMP - OFF
VL -ON

Can you guys help me figure out which model it is and if there is a LOUD setting or any other suggestions?

THANK YOU!

Did you put in any bass speakers? Or are you expecting thumping bass from a midrange?

Yeah to be honest sort of...

I put in 600Watt 6x9's in the back and 200watt mid's in the front - HOWEVER, I did this to my Polo and it sounded fansatsic. The polo shook at the back from the 6x9's alone.

The VW's come with nice standard radio's so this might have made the difference.

The ford radio's are usually 20W x 4 crappy radios.

Was just hoping for at least a loud setting to give it a bit of a boost.

Did you fit an amp to drive this?
