Ford South Africa's braai robot can cook 120 pieces of meat in 12 minutes

Ford South Africa's Silverton Assembly Plant has modified one of its old vehicle assembling robots using decommissioned tools to turn it into an automatic braai machine.

The TCF BBQ (Braai Boerewors Quickly) can braai 120 pieces of meat in 12 minutes without breaking a sweat, Ford South Africa said.

You can take South Africans no where. They could have built a chair, maybe a table, or what about a couch? No we build a braai machine.

If you could build anything you can you would choose a chair, table or couch?

WTF braais in 12 minutes..??

That is boerewors, pending on the size, 12 minutes I guess is good, though the robot is slow on the turn. I like hot and quick, don't like dry wors.

Personally, I wouldn't trust a robot with my preparation and cooking, unless we have replicators which is a wet dream in this day and age.

You never let a serious crisis go to waste.

I'm wit you on the wors but jeez that's not even enough time for a small beer..

Have they not learnt that Ford and Fire do NOT go well together?

Maybe he's family of Mbeki, mtafeltjie or mstoeltjie
Nice try but the answer is no. Civilization will reach Rustenburg eventually. Then you okes will have mtafeltjie and mstoeltjies to sit on instead of rocks! :p
