After an unfortunate data loss event on my phone (goodbye beta user program), I reconnected it to the Sync3 system in my Ranger, to find that Fordpass is now available in South Africa. I have not managed to get everything to work yet and asked around on a Ford group on Facebook. I was told that it will be officially launched with the FX4 Ranger next month, after which it will be available with all Ford models, but will most functions will only be available with the automatic models.
Who else knows something about it? Any info sources, perhaps?
