"One of the reasons Texas keeps such fine-grained records on offenders is the federal government’s Secure Communities Program, which mandates sharing information on immigration status and is pitched as a way to deport criminals before they can commit more crimes in the United States.

While immigration is a top priority of federal law enforcement agencies, undocumented immigrants are far more likely to encounter local law enforcement officers than federal agents. Through Secure Communities, when local police book arrested suspects, their biometric information is compared to federal databases, giving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement notice when a non-citizen. "

Can you say that about South Africa?
Something else to consider. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_and_crime

So i.e. only 3.3% of the prison population are actual foreigners... Damn.
18 000 inmates we are not supposed to have, 18 000 inmates we were not supposed to have spent law enforcement resources on and 18 000 inmates we are not supposed to be feeding in jail. We were not even supposed to be wasting time having a national debate about them, of course assuming that the majority of them are illegals.

Also not counting those who are able to commit crime and simply jump back into their countries, as those alleged to be the tavern shooters did, or those who are able to fly below the radar thanks to their status.

Problem with South Africans is that they are too clever for their own good, there is no African country which is having this conversation, simply because the problem isn't even allowed to exist.

All illegal foreigners are criminals. Fact.

Since they illegal, how are they:

Making money and paying taxes?

Most likely they end up doing crime.

Help me out here....
544 000 inmates out of a total of 60mil population.
Google says that the country incarceration rate is inmates ÷ population x100 000.
That gives me 544 000÷60mil×100k= 907 per 100k

Now the internet also tells me that the RSA incarceration rate for June 2022 is 239 per 100k.

And the highest in the world is USA at 629 per 100k.

Am I missing something here? Wtf going on?

Cele can't count which is shocking considering he's a "teacher".

Sure, but that's the thing. The way some people go about it you'd think foreigners make up 95%+ of the prison population...

I'm with you that something should be done about the illegals, but we should watch out that the concern about illegals and immigration doesn't boil over into "foreigner gevaar" (which it already has).
