Looks interesting, maybe WiMax will be out of the picture before it even gets in...

I think it was TheRodent that mentioned that WiMax is not the silver bullet it's made out to be, probably the same with xMax

Speed will be the problem if they are lowering the operating frequency. A reduction in frequency will give greater range and penetrating ability through obstacles, however it comes at the cost of data capacity.
