Why does it take 12 hours?

I had a missed call with a voice message at 11:00 on Friday 18 May and received the mail in at 23:00.

Is this kind of delay by design?

There service is quite quick. I just deposited two messages into my voicemail and received the email with the recording within 5minutes. Maybe there could be delays on your email server? PM me your number I will have a look at your VM profile for i-Mail.

I previously did not have any problems with the imail system but since Saturday something has gone wrong. A message that was left for me on Saturday only reached my mailbox on Monday 12:07 PM. Two messages from yesterday has still not reached my mailbox.

I your account to forward to my email address. I then dedposited two messages into your VM box. I received the emails after a short while. I have set it back to your email address. All should be fine now.

@Dr_Data, can you please explain to me how does the MTN I-Mail works?
I have tried several times to log into the website, but i always get an error message...
Does one need to have a special type of phone?
Is the system open to prepaid subscribers too?

i-Mail is currently only available to contract users free of charge. It may soon become a subscription service, maybe then it will also be available to prepaid subs.

If you are on contract and experiencing problems logging onto i-Mail, please PM me the number.
