I would be far more impressed by JMPD officers that arrested corrupt JMPD officers and caught them in the act of taking bribes.
Doubt there is much that would impress you.

They would be accused of arresting the others and taking most of the bribe money for themselves.Maybe they did call SAPS, maybe SAPS didn't answer their phone (bloody likely).
When it comes to procedure, I have to wonder if JMPD obtained a search warrant before conducting the search.
Anyway ra ra JMPD and all that, even though I agree that not taking a bribe is not something that deserves praise.

And discover it was a sting operation...also....for that day only id take the R100k to not search and return the next day to search.
What's important here, is that I'd take the 100k. Not searching today is fine.
Don't you just know it.They would be accused of arresting the others and taking most of the bribe money for themselves.
Missed opportunity there, you should have posted this:Doubt there is much that would impress you.

A Johannesburg metro police officer is behind bars for corruption after he was turned in by a colleague, JMPD chief David Tembe said on Tuesday.
Taking to his Twitter page, Tembe said the traffic warden was arrested following an operation in Diepkloof, Soweto, where he was allegedly seen taking a bribe from a motorist.
“A newly promoted internal affairs sergeant observed the interaction between the warden and the motorist where money was exchanged,” Tembe said.
Both the traffic cop and motorist have been arrested.
I am suitably impressed with thatHere, colour yourself impressed.
