Local locals are the ANC type, lazy and entitled, always looking for a handout, there is not much to be said about these type of locals.

Lions are killed for various reasons and in this case, for the claws and most probably teeth. This case has all the hallmarks of killing for Chinese medicine.

iBhubese is definitely used as muti, especially the fat. Years ago I saw lion & leopard parts amongst many other animals being sold by tradition traders in the berea station area. The stench in that place from all the animal parts will make you gag. PS did not see a single chinese shopper in the area.
