Four years later, Brian Molefe still hasn’t paid back his Eskom pension

All our cadres are like this
Take away their perks and they are back to the poor-house, living in a shack in a squatter camp
That is generally what happens when you are living large on proceeds of corruption or crime in general, cadre or no cadre.

I'm tending more towards us never finding out, and all sorts of "privacy" claims being thrown around for anyone who tries to find out.
Actually the article doesn't say anything about Molefe and Molefe had been ordered to pay back only 10m not 30m as he hadn't received the full 30m yet.

Here's a copy of the post I made in the other thread:

It doesn't sound like Molefe has paid back anything yet. The court order has a list of things that need to be done and it looks like they are only at the first step where the EPPF refunds Eskom:

Step 3 will be the first one where Molefe has to pay anything (which will be back to the EPPF) and that will probably depend on SARS first issuing the various tax directives.

For those interested the full judgment is on SAFLII: http://www.saflii.org/za/cases/ZAGPPHC/2022/492.html
