When I posted about this overreach and the implications, some forumites suggested I take off my tinfoil hat.
I have always and will always say that the FPB is the devil and will give/do anything to have something like the great firewall of China, that the FPB has utter control over.

There are many people who actually do not know what is happening around them. Excuse them and move on.

They worry about the internet in the same way as their Communist friends in China.
The goal is the same in South Africa and China. Of course they don't want to piss off the few remaining dumb konts that are still invested in SA, so they lay the groundwork with laws such as these, so that in future, they can use the laws to censor dissent.
