... if you can get through during free call periods. Where networks have done this before the free communication channels were permanently soaked up by people using it for baby monitors, peer-to-peer networking, call centre diverts, music-on-the-go, number polling, etc.

I'm glad I'm not responsible for network quality in CellC.

MTN should have something like this for customers with more than one contract.

Say for instance I have two contracts. I use one and my wife use the other one. Then we should be able to call each other free of charge. That would be great.

Come one Pitbull. Tell someone.;):D

Exactly, I'd rather pay for a service that works than get one for free which doesn't. Cell C has problems at the best of times. If this results in problems on my Vodacom phone because of Cell C roaming I'm not going to be impressed.

what rules? recharging for R5 a week to get 2 free hours?
being on prepaid like most people?
jealousy makes you nasty :p

Yeah sure. For prepaid users its definately a must. But for the contract subscribers it's a waste.

Hopefully MTN gives us something better that this.:D

For contract subscribers on CellC will only have free calls on weekends when their inclusive minutes have been depleted. So you will use minutes in the first weekends and end up paying more for calls in the week.

We must remember that Cell C is doing this to improve turnover - more spend on the network.

Orange in the UK have the best system - free calls from Friday 7pm to Monday morning 7am for Orange to Orange calls - and this will do nothing to your inclusive minutes.

O2 have a O2 weekend per month where all calls are free........

We can only dream.
