I plan to use the uncapped deal for R250pm which is the best value ATM given you have sufficient speeds and don't need it between 6pm and 11pm

These are RAIN Mobile sims right? So they should be backward compatible with a regular LTE modem? Not necessarily needing a specific LTE-A router?

Yes it's backwards compatible. I plan to use it in my phone first before getting a B315 router which is only LTE compatible AFAIK.
