Free Netflix streaming on Telkom FreeMe contracts

Only 360p... Very usable on phones and tablets... A good start.

What does the media box do anyone?

The free streaming proposition works as follows:

Subscribers on FreeMe 2GB and up will be able to stream music without it counting toward their cap.
Subscribers on FreeMe 5GB and up will be able to stream video for free.

If it's a Android TV box that can do 1080P Netflix and not just a normal modified version of Android it's going to be awesome.

Also, those moaning about contracts, you can actually purchase a SIM-only FreeMe contract on a month-to-month basis, if you don't want to sign a 24-monther.

It is said, anything above 360p is not zero-rated. And they say about turning on/off optimalization. It doesn't say anything how you would do it - proxy server?

I got the contract on one of the "Big Deals" so it was cheaper than the normal contract, if I upgrade I will be paying the normal price.
