Its as good or better than the alternatives. Smooth and intuitive. Will be my default.

Tried that before, was ok but the paid versions of Quick Office and Office suite were much better. Got Office Suite on promotion, was 90% off and the very next day the released the v6 update.

I doubt for the difference in features, it warrants the extra (100%) cost.

Free one was missing a few features I use regularly, can't remember what it was, upgraded some time ago. Not in the habit of paying for something I don't need.

Was referring to the difference in features from this free app compared to paid full versions of other apps.

As I said, was missing features, plus hated kingsofts UI, also at that time had limited cloud integration, not sure about now but the 1 and only cloud service it allowed access to it did not support where as OS and QO both supported a wide selection including dropbox and google docs which I use regularly, neither of which were at least at that time in kingsoft. I used it because I don't use documents on my phone often enough to of justified paying R100 for it, but when it was on special for under R10 I figured what the hell, lets have my cake and eat it too, for really really cheap.

BTW, 100% of 0 is still 0, you cannot define a percentage based increase on a 0 value (free) product/item.

Meant compared to R100 its not worth it, but compared to R10 it is. Lol. I know a little about dividing by zero.

That's why I used the free one, if I spent more time out of the office then R100 would be justifiable, but not for the 1 or 2 documents I open a month.

The only problem with an office suite on a small screen (Samsung Galaxy S) is the screen real estate, esp when using a virtual keyboard as opposed to a normal keyboard.

It is possible to do a document or two, but I prefer to use it for long, complex notes.

Just not worth it.

I got ThinkFree Office installed on my Galaxy S. It is a great, amazing little Office suite. Have no idea how they crammed that into a phone... Seems to be a fully-licensed install...

By the by, do one get a pouch with built-in bluetooth keyboard for the Galaxy S?

Not sure you get one for any phone, say some cheepie jappie pouches for tables with USB keyboards on amazon, that and ebay would be your best bet for such things

Correction, found one for the note: http://goo.gl/DU0ea, search for the s2 turned up only some cheapie wannabe keyboard with no pouch

If OpenOffice/LibreOffice would be released for Android devices, I would definitely get it as well...
