Frogfoot performance issues in George

I have been waiting more than 2 months (since 2 Dec 2019) for Afrihost and FF to install fibre to my home in Heatherlands. Is there a better option here in George ? ?MTS. I am fed up did not sign any contract yet, only received the router. What do you suggest ?

Im in heatherlands as well. Got mine installed August.
I went with Home connect, but as you maybe read before, was a rough ride.

Mind the speed helped me a lot, they are on it.

Once you get an ISP signed up, ask them for the FRG number, this is your frogfoot order number. Ask the ISP's operation team to please follow up on the order and give them this FRG number ( Sales can give it to you )

The delay is usually not at the ISP (in this case Afrihost), but rather Frogfoot not getting to your installation due to a big backlog which has been exacerbated by the sales push in the area by Vox/Frogfoot.

Perhaps contacting @AfriMan as a last resort before you move to another ISP might be worth it. Hopefully he can do some magic.

Definitely - we have to rely on the provider for installations - and remember that many of them were closed from the 15th of December to around the 13th of Jan, though people continued to sign up in that period.

But we'll do everything in our power to get our clients connected as quickly as possible.
 
I have done a small survey in our neighborhood in port Elizabeth
We went live 23 January
Some was already installed 2 weeks back , some receaved dates end of month, some did not yet receive a date
Do frogfoot prioritize by how long ago you have done pre order ?
 
Eh, pinging 8.8.8.8 today looks a bit off. Small ping spikes and a packet loss here and there.

Saw the frogfoot network page, a few problems in Joburg
 
Yikes.

Wasn't online much last night unfortunately so can't corroborate - but that looks awful..
