If @Frogfoot Fibre think I'm going to pay more from February for what is now definitely an inferior product, I'll definitely go back to LTE or look at 5G options.

High latency / jitter / low download speeds, and the ONT "Ethernet" light is flashing incredibly fast, all the time, even when little to no internet traffic being used - don't know if that's a symptom of what's going on with the network or a (somewhat) faulty ONT ?

This is Frogfoot fibre, even though it doesn't outright indicate it is :

On Ookla it picks up Openserve automatically, anyway (screenshots)

Similar results to what I described above.

Are FF rerouting traffic (and therefore totally aware things still aren't right), but how do they have access to Openserve's network ?

Can't even load those sites. The net is too slow for it 🤣

Mine's still able to function, but figures all over the place.

What's concerning is when the FF rep continues to comment with canned responses, so we're unaware if they're bothering trying anything in the background.

Seemingly no issues currently in the CI / Afrihost threads, so maybe it's Axxess, or partly them, but Afrihost would be affected as well then, I presume.

Going to try some streaming now & see how the ping + jitter affect things.

Openserve is the just the network of the endpoint performing your speedtest.

I'm also with Axxess. Your other symptoms are also my symptoms. If you log into your router you may also see the massive amount of garbage "download" traffic your router is currently receiving from Axxess/Frogfoot.

Thanks - appreciate you confirming so I know it's not just me out in the wilderness, so to speak.

I don't think / know if my router would show me that traffic as it's a Deco mesh setup which gives somewhat limited functionality through their app - compared I imagine to an Asus you can login through the IP address of, and do tests, change multiple settings (like the ADSL modems) etc.

Dont know if this aricle was posted here, nice to see Frogfoot's issue being brought to light in "normie" news instead of seeing "paid for\sponcored" articles written on MyBB

That article raises a few good questions. Assuming that good journalism prototcols were followed seems that FF did not want to comment.

That article does seem to point that it may be time to move to the second worst operator and get off the worst.

Some of these question have been asked before and still no response, I want to know what our respective ISP's are going to do as this is also bad for them, @ all the Afrihost reps @Afrigirl @AfriGuy & @AfriNatic how will you be addressing this issue on behalf of your clients to ensure this doesn't happen again?

Very nice read. I hope Afrihost pressure Frogfoot to answer these questions. Also Mybroadband journalists should do the same.

Jokers. Anyway internet seems to be working for me, no need to employ weird workarounds like cloudwarp for traffic routing.

I would like to stop complaining for now.

Best effort, after all. They are also trying their best :)

I see no response from the ISP reps either.

I'm in a complex and currently the fibre line in the complex is Frogfoot. Over the last 6/7 months we have been having persistent outages. I'm with VOX/Frogfoot and this is now the 3rd day I've had no internet, VOX tested the system and discovered that the issue is on Frogfoot's side and Frogfoot is saying there is no problem on their side.
