I stay in the Mont Blanc complex in View Street, Rietvalleirand, Pretoria.

I've been checking for fibre availability every day since they started digging up the gardens and laying the fibre cables. They seem to have finished up with everything, OpenServ's map says future fibre.

Any idea how long this process usually takes?

about 2-3 weeks after they are done trenching and pulling. the ends need to be spliced to the rest of the network, etc, etc.. keep checking.. soon it will be purple.. : }

Openserve finished in begin june in wingate park. and only half of wingate park went live last week monday. so it takes about 2 to 3 months before the fibre is lit up
