Hi Everyone,

After being hard at work, and initially intending to launch this last year, I've decided to rework the entire platform and built it better, and bring out native mobile apps too!

So for those who don't know, here's the previous thread:

here

In short, the platform will let you find filling stations closest to you based on your geolocation and show you various details including the price of fuel. You can also search by specific Brand or Grade.

Something that has changed from the initial decision, which I believe is a massive benefit to the community and users of the app, will be that any outdated information will automatically be removed. Filling station info will be regularly updated as will prices and specials. Anything older than 45 days that hasn't been updated is disabled until it gets an update.

The native apps will be available for iOS Phones and Android. All others will have access to a HTML5 app.

I've scheduled to go live on 7 April with the site.
The apps will be dependent on the App Stores.

Pop over to www.fueldir.com and fill out your details and I'll keep in touch.

As always, let me know your thoughts!

I'll put up some images of the app later today.

But our fuel prices are the same at every filling station, unless you talking about diesel, which to my understanding does not vary that greatly anyway? Is it aimed at diesel users?

It's not only for fuel prices, but also a tool for helping you find a filling station by Brand or Grade of fuel. So if you travelling somewhere and don't want to lose your rewards when filling up, use the app and find the relevant station.

And yes, it will help diesel users a great deal also.

Also helps when you travelling to plan your stops.
