Our client is recruiting a Senior Java Developer/Architect with 7 years plus experience.
Location: Randburg
Type position: Permanent or contract
Remuneration: Negotiable
Skills and experience required:
• IT degree preferred (B.Sc/BIT/B.Tech) or 3 year National IT Diploma.
• 7 years plus Java development experience.
• Must have J2EE skills.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Hibernate.
• Unit testing.
• Performance analysis and optimisation.
Additional valuable technology experience includes:
• Eclipse IDE, Netbeans IDE
• Subversion
• JBoss 5.1
• Spring
• CXF
• Click Web Framework
• Struts2 Web Framework
• Prototype (for Javascript)
• Hibernate
• MySQL
• LDAP
• Maven2
Technologies used on project:
• Java 1.4.2 and newer (including generics and annotations)
• Dojo Javascript framework
• SAP Netweaver Developer Studio
• Netweaver Developer Infrastructure (NWDI), Design Time Repository (DTR), GIT
• Log4j
• JSP, Servlets
• Joda-time
• REST Architecture
• Ajax
