A Mini flew past me doing about 100 - 110 in a 80 zone, and her plate read APPLE314 WP :D

The goose that was driving was mooi so I forgave her her transgression:whistling:

Sorry no pics

Saw this on Twitter...my response is WTF?!

changed cars but couldn't afford the number plate change LOL

It's that's the case it's a hell of a downgrade lol

Probably hoping someone will offer to buy the plate off him at a tidy profit.

Not really, it could be that more than one car is registered under the same plate, or for number plate retention where if the Merc was sold, to be kept active it needs to be put on another car.

Since when can you register more than 1 car under the same plate? Registrations are always tied to a VIN and engine number last time I checked.

Might not be registered per se, and probably isn't legal, but I've seen people (families) using one plate with two cars.

Merely wanted to show the negative Nancies that there are other possibilities behind the plate.

No you're just arguing a ridiculous (and illegal) point for the sake of arguing.

Number plate retention is 100% not ridiculous... Nor is using one plate for more than one car in SA as has even been witnessed on this forum... So stop being a NN and accept the possibilities.
