I am contemplating getting the 27" iMac with 2TB FusionDrive.

I however want to install Linux and Windows 10 on it as well. Will I be able to partition to install these OS as well?

Yes but it only install on the one drive as I recall when using bootcamp.

I think it was on the mechanical.

Why buy an iMac only to install something else?

Hardware is hardware. I should be able to do to it what I want.

By all means do what you please.

But I would buy an All in One from MSI or Lenovo for less money if I wasn't going to use OSX.

You can create only one additional partition that will be on the HDD, not the SSD and it will not be part of the Fusion Drive: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202574

If you choose either Linux or Windows, my advice is to install the OS in EFI mode and not BIOS emulation mode. Also, if this is done correctly, you won't need to use rEFInd or rEFIt as a boot manager. The mac's built-in boot picker can be invoked via the option key to choose which OS you wish to boot from.

Here's a video I made a while back showing my old Macbook Pro dual booting Ubuntu and OS X in pure EFI mode:

i'll probably disable fusion drive altogether

have osx on the ssd

create a 50gig linux partition and 200gig windoews partition on the hdd.

blalnce will be a ntfs partition. i have the paragon ntfs program so all 3 os should be able to read it.

The Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse / Magic Trackpad and Retina IPS screen alone make it worth it.

It is also a piece of art.

Yeah but those only work properly inside OSX...so comes right back to my point of why instlal anything else?

They do work inside Windows. Sure, there may be issues with multi touch etc. Still a quality experience though.

The Retina IPS screen and piece of art definitely work.

I found Windows just doesn't understand Retina scaling.

But haven't done Windows 10 so that might have fixed it.
