I was chatting to a support representative, shame she was sweet even as frustrated as i was over the performance tonight.... but all of a sudden, my 2 Wifi networks we not visible except the default wifi. I did mention i dont want to reset my router to default as i was having issues last night and the support tech asked me to reset. Its takes me about 30 -45 mins to configure my router as i have to do a bit of configuration.

but alas, my router was magically reset to default configuration and back to step 1 in configuring my router

I believe they use the TR-069 function for this. It reports stats ect every 24 hours. You can disable it although I would probably advise against doing that as they might not give support if you do.

Off topic, how you are not in IT (yes, you have stated why in another thread), is just crazy.

Anyways, now I know what that is too. I have previously disabled mine though...

yea i have turned it off now.... but it frustrates me that i said i dont want to reset, yet she just randomly reset it anyway

Does this relate to ODU as well. I am still unable to get into the backed of my unit, so I don't see any of these settings. RAIN technicians failed to supply username and password at initial power-up. No default username and password on device.

just hard reset the device, the default pw is admin (if its the same device as mine)

Jaa bloody thing is 6 meters up in air currently difficult to reach. If I may ask what was username? Tried admin but unit says I cant leave field blank.

my IDU doesn't require a username. Another possibility is that the password to access the unit is also the wifi password. There is a setting that you can set the login password to be the same as the wifi password

Have you tried one of these to get to the unit :p
