Galaxy S4 accidental damage warranty for South Africa

S3 has 306ppi and the S4 has 441ppi. At that density the pentile matrix display does not matter as you need a microscope to see the difference.

Yep, I agree, when I hold my Galaxy S4 next to my Galaxy S, the difference is like Night & Day, on the S you can see individual pixels, but the S4 is simply AWESOME to look at...
 
This whole Galaxy S4 accidental damage warranty coverage sounds more like an excuse to do dumping in a acceptable manner :p
 
Does anyone know the number to send your IMEI number to to activate the warranty?
 
Where do you register for this warranty, read somewhere that you need to sign up for an e-warranty on the samsung site but cant find it anywhere on the site
 
To register. Send an SMS to 34622. The message must contain ONLY "REG*your full IMEI number#".
 
Got it off another forum where the guy called Samsung directly. Not sure of the cost. You should get a confirmation sms after you have done it successfully.

Remember to exclude the "s
 
Oh ... dont include the / in your number. Just use numbers.

Why? Yes the S4 is more breakable than an iPhone but Apple offer a similiar accident damage warrantee AFAIK and you have to pay extta for it. IMO the 2 yr accident damage warranty on the S4 is as good as insurance cover. if you are able to protect it from theft then you should enjoy 2yrs worry free usage.

Why? Yes the S4 is more breakable than an iPhone but Apple offer a similiar accident damage warranty AFAIK and you have to pay extra for it. IMO the 2 yr accident damage warranty on the S4 is as good as insurance cover. if you are able to protect it from theft then you should enjoy 2yrs worry free usage.

I registered my device on samsung.co.za just fine and AFAIR the original mybroadband article on this subject pointed to a url and not an sms number. That's not to say the sms procedure is incorrect either. ....
