Galaxy S4 Vodacom, Dion Wired pre-order pricing emerges

Pre-order pricing?

Based on the feedback from these subscribers, Vodacom’s pre-order deals for the Samsung Galaxy S4 start at R469 for the Smart S contract.

Just got a call from cell C to do a credit check and to tell me I'll get a call on the 27th to process the order. R400pm - 100 minutes, 100 sms', 1GB data. Better than Vodacom's offerings me thinks.

still waiting for my call...i was one of the first to preorder :/

I was at one of the outlets at cellc, they said they would go down the call list once they receive stock.

I'm hoping to get it this weekend, but it wont surprise me if its late.

Still going strong on my 2.5 year old Galaxy S1. I don't see any reason to upgrade until it is broken. Can make calls, sms, whatsapp, take pictures, make videos, browse internet, listen to music, play games, use it as a wireless modem, make notes, read books. What else do people do on their phones these days?

But can it play crysis :D

Seriously though, if your satisfied, then there is nothing to worry about. Some of us enjoy better hardware and features.

I still got my trusty S1 next to me and had it probably about as long. But all that on my S3 just makes the whole thing so much better. So now my S1 mostly there for the tethering.

I am also still using my S1, however it is starting to die :crying: Also registered on Cell C preorder have not heard anything. Was planning at looking at Vodacom as well however their package is seriously expensive compared to Cell C

Well my current phone vs. an S4 it would be like upgrading from an ox cart to a Land Rover.
...and I'm *still* quite happy with my phone

Yeah great table with the heading "Samsung Galaxy S4 reported pre-order pricing" but no pricing?

Exactly.

Also, the article talks about the phone being available at other providers (e.g. Dion), but a price is never mentioned.

Also, the article refers to a previous article in which Cell C revealed their pricing: there should a link to it.

As much as I love this phone, It's not much of a bump up from my current S3...

The users due for upgrade at the moment are not S3 users. They are '2011 smartphone' users (like me), who will most certainly enjoy the bump up!

The majority of S3 contract users signed up in late 2011 / early 2012, and will be due for upgrade closer to 2014. I'm sure you'll find the S5 will be more of a bump up for you :)

+1 , But I upgrade in December :/ ... Help me choose
