Galaxy s7 battery

Hi Guys,

I have my s7 for about 1.5 months now. When I got the phone it seemed to be running quite warm. That issue seemed to have now gone away. The funny thing is that with the latest software patch from telkom the battery han gone from excellent to horrible. I used to get a full day of moderate usage and sometimes a full 24 hours. Over the last few days the phone is dead before I even get to bed.

Have you guys experienced this? I even formatted the phone but it's still as bad...

What'd you do to format the phone? Clearing cache and updating Google play services should correct the drain.

A factory reset would be "to format"...

Anyway OP, I think its an apps fault. My Galaxy Tab 1 had terrible battery life after a bunch of updates (apps only, OS is old, only google apps and a CCTV app on it), then after another bunch of updates a month later it was all working fine again and would last days.

What does you battery use screen say is chowing the power?

Ya a reset to factory defaults. Mostly android system and Android OS. That's the concern
