We tested Game’s Black Friday price beat promise

Redeeming Game’s price beat promise on early Black Friday deals at one of its stores in Gauteng proved to be seamless, a real-world test showed.

At the beginning of October, Game announced that it will extend its price beat guarantee to specials running during the entire Black November.

If only Game stocked actual products, Apple, Dell, HP, Ramoss, etc proper high-end products no one should buy Chinese crap like superfly.

I dont understand why MyBB "contacted game to inform them of their experiance" when Game paid to have this "experiment done" and the article published.

Same old massmart companies feature in their weekly deals.

Wow I didn’t know Game now does price beat on online items as well. Always believed it was limited to brick and mortar stores … Great article
They've always done pricebeats for local online stores, but they shouldn't have in this case, their conditions state that should you wish to pricebeat an online store, the delivery fee has to be factored into the price, as takealot's free delivery only applies to orders over R450.

Takealot's price was actually at least R25 more than advertised, because it did not reach the R450 threshold for free delivery/collection, and that would have been added to the price at checkout.

No they haven't, often they would say sorry we can't beat that price as they are online and don't have to worry about rent and yadda yadda

So essentially MyBB got the device at standard retail and Massmart still got their pound of flesh. After takealot added their pre-black Friday markup. Not like Game/Makro/Massmart don't all do it.

So what was the exact point of this article?

Exactly. Aren't we supposed to be informed when sponsored content is fed to us?
