Game returns to one-day-only Black Friday with midnight store openings

Every year after Black Friday everyone complain what a scam Takealot's BF deals was. I just wish that we will see an article about that before BF this year, surely they can't just keep that BS up every year.
 
I ordered a little fan online from Game on Sunday. No communication since, I checked online today and they have canceled the order for some reason. Tried the chat, nobody responded. Called the helpline and explained the issue, the high IQ individual, while eating nik naks, asks me if it was an online or store purchase. I lost it and told her to f off... Why will I query an undelivered fan if I had bought it in store?

You could be in the store and ask for it to be delivered. That would probably not be logged in the same place as something bought online. Making the search easier.

How would the person know the size of the article and the reason for you wanting it delivered?

Perhaps they could ask you?

Maybe you are right, it's just that when she asked the order number, I would have expected her screen to show the order details... ie a 25cm fan. Maybe I was and still am too upset about a silly thing like this, I keep reminding myself.. Expect little and you will not be disappointed

I also lost my schlt many times, but it gets you nowhere. Just be patient and friendly.

Unless the person really doesn't want to help you :p

I've survived my trial of fire back in the US, having been dragged to more discount malls on Black Friday than I care to remember.

I plan to still be in a turkey coma from the night before. ;)

Only problem I see is the opening at midnight. That is a recipe for disaster in SA especially if criminals will know now that people will drive to Game that time of the night on that day. You might be a target from exiting your house all the way to the parking at the mall.

It happened at Makro. There were so many cars beyond the enclosed parking that criminal were just helping themselves
 
Black Friday specials????? Store increase prices between September and October only to sell things at August price on Black Friday.
