GameMax is going LIVE - only R69 (± £4) a month

Gamemax has worked well for me - reducing my ping time by 100ms on average. I am happy to pay the R69 as this is similar to the cost of similar services from companies like YourFreedom, which I have found to be inferior for playing Wow.

Please note that roosta is NOT part of the Gamemax team and although we see him assisting users with Gamemax issues and is positive about Gamemax(maybe we should employ him ) he is NOT on our team so please stop flaming the man about it, you are making us feel responsible. On a brighter note the SSL certificates are uploaded and ready for use.

Another interesting fact you should know about is that telkom is currently having issues of sort and the whole saix network is under-performing, after some testing and assistance from some of our beta users(thanx ) we found that IS users are getting on average a 100ms lower ping than saix. This should balance out when telkom resolves the problem, but we thought you should be aware of the problem and if your friend has a better latency then you that could explain why.

Apologies to you but writing a program that will do what freecap/sockcap can do for an alpha/beta windows 7 would be way out of scope of this project, i hope you understand. Unfortunately running the absolute latest software/OS also has it's cons as well as pros. If we ever do come across a solution to your problem (first we need to get windows 7) we will notify you, but until then we wish you the best of luck and please if you do find the right tool/solution that is free let us know.

I just don't get how you came to this conclusion? Are you seriously going to believe some guy who's makes 36.97 posts on average in a day? 2,083 since 1-12-2008? He practically lives on these forums.

GameMax is a service. It takes money, time and effort and the people implementing it are obviously not going to invest those without wanting some form of return. Personally I prefer to keep using my unshaped account but several of my guildies trialed it out and were fairly happy with the service. No need to slate them like this until they are proven to offer bad service.

Getting pissed off about them not supporting Windows 7 yet, which is still in Beta is pretty laughable as well.

It's not about the money That I can assure you... ask the people who know me. The Price vs Service is the problem. That is the reason I'm not using it... Period. I used it for about a week max. Thus I'm indicating to the people who plan on using it that it's not worth R 69 a month.

I used to use a VLAN service to play WOW about 2 years ago. The members name was CLIPSE who use to supply the service. I can't remember what is was called exactly, but I am sure it will ring a bell for someone.

I used to pay R55.00 for this service a month.

you did proxyfy the game didn't you ? otherwise there will be no difference....

and no it will not- this is primarily for international gaming, currently wow to lower the latencies...

Wel once international bandwidth is used up with downloads and other general stuff, then that would mean that I cannot play WOW anymore. I thought perhaps your server was local and then would tunnel through to EU servers...
