Games are so easy these days.. Yes, the "extreme hard" setting is a tough one, but they so short lived?

Bought rage for ps3... So much repetition.. So easy , was actually bored after 2hrs? Finished in day and a half.

Bought wwe12, finished in a weekend

Got red dead redemption, bored after half an hour..

Then I got f3ar, switched off after 15 min. Thought it was terrible!

Any suggestions for games? Something good story, good visuals, no sport or driving games.

I loved Red Dead Redemption. Just keep at it, it gets better.

Currently enjoying Max Payne 3 and Forza 4 (again).

If you haven't finished fallout and fallout vegas, I'd say those. Then again, they're so bugged on PS3, don't bother.

for the ps3 hard rain is completely different - it also has 22 various ending options based on your choices during the game, so it can be played over. Brilliant visuals and again, it is completely unique in its game style.
uncharted 1 and 2 (especially 2) are brilliant - 2 is very witty whereas one has a bit more thinking involved - 3 was a bit of a let down.
God of war 3 is stunning graphics and it will take you forever and a day to complete on hard.

You're getting older like me. The only games I've finished in the last 3 years are Dragon Age 1, Mass Effect 1/2/3, Skyrim, Borderlands, GTA IV, Batman Arkham Asylum/City. Anything else, I played for a few hours and then got bored.

I can't sit down and force myself to finish a game if I'm not enjoying it. I think it's also a case of being spoilt by some good games. It makes the average to bad ones seem worse than they are.

Have a look at the Witcher. And if you are looking for something hard, Demon/Dark Souls.

Ah yes.. Max Payne.. How's the AI in it? Don't want a f3ar style where the AI don't see u, but come running at you anyway.

Forza.. Eeek, racing

Fallout, played for a while. Cool world to play in, massive.. Might try that new one which was released last year

Hard rain, will check it out

Uncharted, finished all 3

Mass effect? When I check screenshots.. The gfx look blocky :-/ and how's the AI?

Gta - played all. Got zzzz after a couple of days

Batman, tried the first one.. Was good! How's the open world in the second one? Is it gta style, go where u like?

Assassins creed 1 and 2, finished both

Get Demon Souls or Dark Souls.

Then get on PSN and get Super Meat Boy.

Mass Effect is awesome. Start with 1, finish it, even if you get bored in some parts. 2 and 3 takes the franchise, and gaming in general, to a whole new level.

Maybe you're getting bored of the usual genres? I notice that with most people I know their collection of games is limited to the usual adventure platformer, sport and FPS.

How about some fighting games or Japanese RPGs? Tekken Tag Tournament 2 comes out 14 September, you may want to check that out if replay value is what you want.

I enjoyed the first one the most. When I played 2 I was quite shocked at the jarring difference. It went from proper open world RPG to Gears of War in space. The new ones aren't necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting given the gameplay of the first one.
