Hi everyone,
I am a Multimedia student at the University of Pretoria currently completing my Honours degree.
As part of a subject I am taking, HCI (Human Computer Interaction), I am conducting research on gaming addiction in a South African context. As far as I am aware, no study of this sort has ever been conducted with a focus on South African gamers. Although this is only a mini dissertation, I am hoping to gather as much data as possible.
Unfortunately I cannot offer much incentive, however as I am a avid gamer myself, I will provide a copy of the next Humble Indie Bundle (including the bonus games)
to one person who partakes in this study( please remember to add your email address at the end of the study if you would like to get the Bundle).
I also encourage you to discuss gaming addiction in this thread if you feel the topic is of interest. Any stories, experiences or insights will help a great deal. Hopefully a few discussions and/or debates can develop.
