Is there any1 that is currenlty playing any FPS on a wireless or wifi connection?

Is so is it possible can it be done or is it just a waste of time really. Even on local servers!

depends on your ISP.

if you are using a WISP they maybe add from 10 -100ms sometimes more.

if you talking about adding a wireless AP in your home then going thru your ADSL line add 2-3ms

What would be a decent ping rate to play FPS with wirless. An what would be a Ping rate that you should not even consider playing FPS with? ANy1 know?

anything over 100ms. but i had a friend who was on Iburst and his ping jumped from 20ms to 150ms every 5secs. it depends really.

If you're in the greater CT area I would recommend Uninet (www.uninet.co.za). I used to get sub 30ms pings to most game servers in SA, some nights as low as 12. Be prepared for everyone on the server gasping and flooding you with questions about what connection you have though

Odd.. no idea why its not working.. rather use www.uninet.co.za instead
