My 8700k at stock, boosting to 4.6ghz
8gb at 2400mhz
1080ti stock

12800+- firestrike extreme


8700k oc to 5ghz
8gb at 3200mhz
1080ti stock

13800+- firestrike extreme

That 3600 looks very good in comparison.
I actually remembered our testing earlier this year and went to go look for your results to compare with :p
I agree, i was amazed that a cpu at R3699 was doing this good( With the clock speed so low compared to a 8700k ). I was thinking of buying the 3800x next year, but so far this little bugger seems to be just fine.

I'll get to BFV sometime tonight, show me your settings then i'll replicate them.

When last did you run a test?
I thought i'd run it for the fun of it after a year's BIOS updates came through and got this?! Doesn't make sense though. Nothings changed system-wise

Bios updates could include the latest agesa updates... They do make a speed difference on ryzens...

Spotted an issue with this update, memory can't clock to 3000mhz anymore, it reverts to 2133mhz to boot normally :(
