I am here again, in the gaming section because of Internet Radio. I opened a thread about a station I was giving a try for the first time a while back, then I quit due to reasons discussed in another thread on this forum.
Now I believe it will be much better off, as I have started my own station, along with co-founder mielie69, some of you might know him from the shadowfire IRC network. Shandoe and Nexis from RDD (http://www.rdd.co.za) have decided to be the sole sponsor for GT Radio, providing all resources, domains, registrations and hosting as part of the launch of their IRC server.
Anyways, with a more solid goal in mind, and I might say better experience and resources I am set out to make this work much better for local content.
The website is live for the new station, with some changes being worked into it soon, the IRC network has been setup, the streams are running, currently 24/7 music. Tuesday the first show will start leading into all the others shows advertised on our website.

The main goal for the station is to be a high quality local gaming shoutcast station, for listeners in South Africa and Europe... well of course those guys in the U.S and Aus can listen, if they can stay awake for when the shows air
We are currently looking for hosts for games mostly in the MMO genre, otherwise hosts that can cover an entire genre like FPS/Strategy etc since those games can be difficult to have a entire talk show per title.
If you want to simply provide the most basic of support for the station and assist in the shaping of it, visit us on the IRC channel (given below), help us shape into a better station, if believe you could be of any assistance to the station, give me a PM and let me know.
