my brother is looking for a new monitor 1080p 60hz. Can you guys recommend me one? he is not doing any heavy artwork or graphics design or those kind of stuff. Must be able to pivot the monitor

Well if he has no special requirements then I would suggest you get the cheapest one you can find that has the connection you require.

He said 1080p. That could be 21.5", 23" (most likely), 24", or even 27".

i've had my samsung 23" for like 8yrs now and that little beaut is knocking on strong, not heavy on usage
though, mostly browsing and 2-3 hours fps gaming every other night!

That's the biggest issue with my Samsung 23", the fecker can't pivot for ****.
It can't even tilt downwards a bit.
