Garmin fenix 6 + JBL Tune110BT Connection Issues

I am stumped, I have been using my JBL Tune110BT earphones with my Garmin fenix 6 since I first got the watch without any issues. Today, suddenly the earphones won't pair to the watch and after 'forgetting' them they can't be found either. My iPhone can connect to them without issue so I don't suspect they are the issue, has anyone else experienced this?

Sometimes the firmware goes buggy. Have you tried to reload it?

Thanks, I was going to try reboot the phone before playing around with software/firmware.

I think it got broken in a recent update. I get a similar issue now (fenix 6, using Jabra 75t earphones). I use them all day between my phone and laptop without issue, but every time I connect to the watch, I need to unpair and re-pair them. They used to work perfectly

Do these watches auto update as I haven't updated it? I am unable to re-pair them, even after a soft reboot that I tired earlier today, they simply no longer exist according to my watch.

i have been having a similar issue with my garmin vivoactive 4 with the jbl sprints.

it normally takes about 40 seconds of searching and then it will finally pair. the issue started occurring after the previous watch update.

Yup they auto update - Some mornings, when I open the menu, it shows details on updates that have been installed.
So mine keeps them in the list of headphones, but will refuse to connect at all, I need to go to headphones, fully remove them, put earphones into pairing mode, and then they connect immediately

Thanks, I checked my watch and it is set to auto update, so that is probably what happened  Unfortunately, nothing I do can get the watch to even see the ear phones anymore.

That sucks a lot - Have you got any other bluetooth headphones to try test with? Otherwise, I guess you could try installing beta software, or return the watch?

I only use earphones with the watch while running so it isn't a major issue but is frustrating since they worked perfectly fine until yesterday. Some Googling reveals numerous issues with fenix 6's though, hopefully it will get sorted out sooner rather than later as I don't run with my phone due to safety issues.

I have no idea how or why but I was able to connect my earphones to my watch before a run this last weekend and again for a run this last Monday afternoon

This week was the fifth time I have had this ****ing issue  And Garmin Support is utterly useless, simply sending generic emails with irrelevant information unrelated to the issue.
