Very old thread but time to revisit.

Been with Webafrica since Garsfontein was connected, been with them for the last 29 months I see. Have the Openserve 20/10 "uncapped" package and for gaming it is fine. But with a larger household, Youtube, Showmax and Netflix is killing my CAP resulting that I am constantly getting emails and smses that I am FUPed.

Tried watching Netflix right now and it is constantly buffering. Guess it is time to look at an alternative Uncapped service. After spending a few hours on the forum I have narrowed it down to Cool Ideas yet I am not sure whether they operate in this area. Will call tomorrow to enquire.

Anyone in this area with someone they can recommend that really have an "uncapped" service ?

We use Afrihost Premium Uncapped, 10mbps will cost you R867pm. People stream DSTV Now whole day, game, FB whole day, torrent, Youtube and whatever else. No FUP things received so far.

From what I have experience MTN Super Sonic is pretty decent too. They have the 20/10 uncapped,unshaped,unthrottled deal for R849 R949 with free setup/activation and 1st month free. If you are looking at 10/5 uncapped then Cool ideas for R499 is unbeatable. No one has Openserve prices even close to that.

I only see now I made a mistake. It's R949 for the SuperSonic deal. That said you can have a look at what they offer at the link above. Completely unshaped uncapped. They are also voted best ISP of Q4 2018. Cool Ideas is also a good option but Webafrica you need to ditch that asap. They are a joke imo.

Even Cellc Cfibre will be better than Webafrica.

They are truely uncapped. I can personally only speak for Supersonic and A360. They are pretty damn good.

Thanks. Just completed my application with Cool Ideas for my House and will be doing the same for the business in a few minutes. Just received another Webafrica reminder that I am 90% OF cap and to be FUPped ...
