Maybe the next step is to have it so if they are pulled over for breaking the rules of the road (lol), the traffic officer can fine and deduct the fine right there by scanning the same QR code as the passengers, but instead of adding fees it deducts fees based on the fine. They can contest the fine as you can do with any fine, and if successful, it goes back into the "wallet". The immediate loss of income might just make them think twice before jumping the red light.

But they do use indicators. Hazards imply any direction turning and/or stop to pickup and drop passengers.

doubt this will be successful in JMP, many people don't wanna pay extra for the card plus do all commuters have fancy smartphones that are able to read QR codes
