No. Just no.
Not all black men are druggies
Not all whites are racist

It feels like people feel guilty and if they can share the guilt and get everyone to say yes we are all guilty it makes them feel better about themselves .

see I‘m not alone.
See i’m not bad
See its my gender I cannot help it.
The people who think they are being virtuous for proclaiming their guilt for something they didn't do are very ironically adopting one of the central tenants of Christianity.

Nietzsche pretty much said this would happen:
“God is dead; but given the way of men, there may still be caves for thousands of years in which his shadow will be shown.”

Nah.
With an attitude like his, grovelling to the alter of feminism, his wife will either leave him or make his life a living hell.
Most likely he don't believe/understand this BS and is just repeating what he heard from other activist on the issue.

No, I think the sincerely means it. It is after all the prime directive in mainstream culture.

It is also an empty platitude.

The same as greta flying to events to preach about global warming.

Rules for the masses and not the elites.

I see this thread is still a mess. I’ll wait for the toxicity to settle down.

Splinter, I have implored you to look back at this thread and take note of your behaviour, especially now in hindsight. Retrospectively, have you behaved in a fitting manner? Perhaps you will see that you should not be asking such questions in the first place? That you should not feel entitled to answers? That the message remains the same regardless of the messenger. That's all I am, Splinter, a messenger, one of many. This is not personal, this is bigger than you and I. Splinter, please, sleep on it and if you're still unsure tomorrow perhaps we could have a fruitful engagement. May you awaken with a a refreshed view.

Or maybe not :)

Hey, weren't you the one who questioned and insinuated stuff about the MyBB members wive who was mistreated and falsely arrested by the TMPD cops? If so, you should tread lightly with accusations of credibility perhaps.

And, not taking abzos side, MANY more men die from violence and thus violence is the real issue, with some woke fools trying to make it only about gender.

I think you are going off topic. I din't believe a wife was involved at all (at first). So it's really got nothing to do with this subject

GBV is more than just actions, it is also a huge culture around being "manly" to the point where it is seen that you need to dominate multiple layers of society, ie control your woman, control your home, control your children.

It also leads to a habit where many men want the toughest of the tough, vicious dogs, big cars, tough activities, etc.

It is reflective on this very forum where some forumites feel like gatekepers of the sex, proclaiming "they're not REAL men", threatening violence against anyone they disagree with as if klapping someone makes them correct.

There is also a habit to associate negative traits with the female sex, feminine nouns and adjectives are associated to people who they dislike.

So it isn't just violence, it is a whole cultural shift around that it is important to be the manliest man ever, and some people intepret that in different ways or else their identity feels threatened. We can't even joke about sexuality without some people feeling insecure.

Abzo covered a really important topic, as important as politics and race
