Can't agree there, most men wouldn't tolerate being around men abusing women. I had a collegue that did this to his ex gf, he is stil treated like the garbage he is at work. Not much more normal men can do.

Some men are the problem. I can only control my own actions, not my entire genders.

As far as I’m aware, I don’t have rapists or wife-beaters in my own social circles, and I'm not about to go preach to strangers to stop beating their wives.

you don’t, the only provable way to reduce those types of crime is 1. To enforce the law and 2. For fathers to be involved in their son’s upbringing.
Those are the two provable interventions that reduce crime.

Preaching to others is not scientific, because those that preach to others generally have something to hide.

I think many men was raised by a woman who taught them they were king and are entitled to everything they want. And anything they can take.
I think it has to do with who and how you were raised. Toxic masculinity is taught by woman to men.

if you want to identify a population with violence against women, high schools dropouts, violence etc then just look at the amount of kids that don’t know who their fathers are.
