Willing to drive to them as price R43 000 for 2 pylontech batteries with cable and brackets.
that's your only choice as they don't answer any communications from my experience. paid online for an inverter but it was just crickets from them for 3 weeks. lost my job in the process of waiting so needed to cancel order, took another 2 weeks to get money back. eventually got in touch via phone (don't bother with email) just before i was going to get in my car and drive from durban and smash through their gate.

Another question. Am I reasonable to ask my electrician to return my Kodak Inverter as I'd rather buy a Growatt for the wifi capability.

He insisted to open box to check everything inside. Not me, I'd have left it sealed. Its totally unused still.

Otherwise its for sale, paid R12 900 .

I ordered a small charge controller from them about a month back. Delivery was about 2 days and I received a much better one than I paid for.
ordered a R35000 inverter, so was pretty stressed not hearing anything for so long. when i eventually got in touch they told me there was no stock.

Hi xxx

1. Axpert King equivalent
2. Solar power - look for 5/4000W
3. MPPT charger
4. Parallel connection

Not sure what else.

Hi

Read manual but think below equivalent of Axpert King?

Kodak King 5kW 48V Solar Off-Grid Inverter with UPS

SKU: SI-KOD-SO-548K

What irritates me is I asked him clearly for King model equivalent

That's why I always chuckle when people act all clever and tell someone who is DIYing to leave things to an electrician, you left things to one and now you are stuck with a wrong inverter.

Perhaps you must try sending it back, as long as its not used and trading it for something, the store might be agreeable to that.

Yep, I get the sense he knows less than me. When I explain about Growatt or Sunkyst wifi modules vs Kodak pi option, he seems clueless

I am sorry because you did proper research before you spent money. Isn't there some wifi card or something you can connect to those inverters?

What I asked. Its not that I'm not willing to pay extra.

But won't stress too much. Will see if it can be done. If not, not the end of the world.

Can always use it in another property or donate to familia, if nobody interested, as R12 900 was a good price.

So one managed to put the battery cabinet together and put one battery in.

Going to leave the other batteries for the electrician to put in tomorrow. This **** is too heavy for me. 20200721_144858.jpg 20200721_144910.jpg
