It is still R6000. If your budget tight it might be an option, since the more I look at these generators, the more similar they look. Like fraternal twins.
Yeah, my max power needs for a generator would be the 2000W inverter ones or the slightly bigger 2500W normal ones just to get a fridge going if needed, etc.

For my specific use case scenarios - I am thinking going a small 2000W/2500W inverter/generator and then a portable power station with capable solar charging like a Ellies/Sunsynk Cube Nova or Rentech PPS 750 - either way combined it CAN be under R10 000, and covered for different use cases. Or covering multiple uses cases simultaneously.

How much quieter are the suitcase inverter generators compared to the open frame inverter generators?
