LOL yea whatever I don't want to hear about your "pro-science" literal global Noah flood that science says didn't happen thanks. Please don't pollute this wonderful haven of rationality with this stuff. Stick to science in the science forum please or don't bother posting.

Oh thanks, that's nice and tolerant of you. Peace out :).

Why should people tolerate stuff that isn't science in the Natural Science forum?

This isn't intolerance. There is a place for that stuff and that place is PD. Not here. Respect the rules of the forum and take your anti-science there.

Ok just a quick question, apparently scientists have proven that as long as a reptile is living, it continues to grow. Is this a correct statement?

This has nothing to do with Neanderthal DNA being present in non-African modern humans. I'm guessing this is more nonsense about how dinosaurs were just reptiles that continued to grow and lived with men. Later you will try to tie it into a literal flood (that science says never happened). Looks like more anti-science.

If you're going to continue to try to drag PD topics into Natural Sciences I'm going to ask the mods to remove your posts. Leave those of us with rational scientific minds with this one corner away from your ignorant anti-science. Respect the rules of the forum please.

My view is that neanderthals where humans. The earth was different pre-flood and as a result the humans were different.
Are you talking about the Tsunami floods of 2005 or the floods we had last year.
In that case Yah, some people didn't know that their houses were below the 100 year flood lines.:D

I suspect that neanderthals are actually modern humans.

LOL! Wouldn't that put the cat amongst the single origin pigeons?

Seriously. What would the implications be? If all humans have a single origin (aka out of Africa or Asia or whatever), wouldn't you expect sub-Saharan Africans and Neanderthals to share at least some DNA besides the basic stuff that all hominids share, I mean?

If Neanderthals are a different species than H. Sapiens, shouldn't their offspring be like mules? And the fact that the offspring are living...doesn't that mean that Neanderthal is possibly a sub-species rather than a different species?

This is why I love genetics. So many wonderful possibilities to explore...

Back in the old days, science was about experiments and observation, then formulating theories, testing and refining said theories comprehensively until you get a "scientific fact"......I may be wrong here?

The above does not apply to macroevolutionists, who have yet to create(!) or bring about a hundreds of millions of years old (or billions of years old if you prefer) experiment to demonstrate speciation (although they do talk about a fruit fly that mutated and therefore can comprehensively prove all of the above so case closed!). Moving right along shall we?

By the way this part of the conversation does not belong here in NS, I will only discuss further in PD.

Exactly. Genesis is NOT an observation. So it is not science. Take it away from the Natural Sciences forum.

Go away and take your anti-science with you.

FINALLY!
