@Jan can you get an audience with someone at Google on this issue? How can ordinary users like you or I "fix" this issue? How can we contribute to a better internet. Google are no doubt going to claim that they rely on the community for feedback on these things.... great.... so what practical steps can we take to get these thugs offline rather than in our inboxes courtesy of Google advertising?

I ordered 6 x 345w solar panels from Geoty since March. I haven't received them. Upon enquiry, they said they don't have stock available. I asked them for 7500kva generator which they confirm is on stock, but never received it . They keep on changing delivery dates. So far, they are no longer responding to my emails and calls.

Its a scam try contact your bank for a refund and log a police report

They don't sell solar equipment. They are scammers.

I bought a pylon battery from them last year which they couldn't deliver as they said there was a supplier problem, but they gave me a full refund and their communication with me was fine.

I'm curious. According to some commentators Geoty's website was only put up at the beginning of 2022. How did you communicate with them at the time of you buying the Pylontech battery from them last year? Did you EFT the money to their bank account? Did they do the refund also by EFT?

Warning to any prospective online customers who are looking at purchasing from Geoty....DONT!!!!!! These guys are 100% confirmed scammers.
I have been waiting a month now for a generator that I purchased from them online.....I canceled the order with them 2 weeks ago and was promised a refund.....not gonna happen..they don't answer phones email...anything.
I have opened up a case with saps and will be forwarded to cyber crimes unit.
Also had my lawyer draught up letter of demand.
I absolutely loath parasites like these....please anyone who can get the message out there to as many contacts as possible that this is a criminal organization.

No it was end of 2021, paid by credit card, was refunded by eft.

Another part of the scam is not to keep your money indefinitely, but to keep it for a good few months in a high interest account. Do that x a lot of people and you can earn some good interest and then just transfer the money back.

Give some back so that you have a few people who can testify in your favour, actually deliver on some items so that you have people who got their orders, especially the low amount orders, that's what good scammers do, confuse your prey and play the long game.

Update on GEOTY RESOURCES
I reported these guys with my Bank's Fraud division and also with Standard Bank because the so-called "Proof of Payment" for the refund came from them. Standard Bank locked (Frozen) the Account and lodge an investigation.
I opened a case of Fraud with the SAPS.

No communications from "Andre" for 3 Days and suddenly, because the Account is Frozen he phoned me and have a lot of excuses (as normal) why the refund did not happen and and and...

So I will advise people (only my opinion) who have been scammed by this Company to report and file a Complaint with the following Authorities to get these people:

1) Your Bank
2) The Bank you paid Money into, to get that Account Frozen
3) SAPS - Open a Case
4) National Consumer Council - irw the Consumer ACT that the Company have violated.
5) SARS - The Reg. VAT number on Invoice checks out, Report them to SARS to be Investigated.

If all of us, report them then we can get these People and stop them from Scamming others out of their hard earned Money.

The reason why Geoty use Pay Fast for payments are as follows. When you make the payment to Pay Fast, they pay the money to Geoty. Geoty don't deliver the product. When you ask your bank to reverse the payment, your bank go to Pay Fast to recover the money. Pay Fast tell the bank we already paid the supplier. So the bank cant reverse the money. Should we use Pay Fast any more? I definitely would not use them again
