Yep. And forumites like @TheChamp couldn't understand why I kept looking over my shoulder in Germany. It's inbred in SA. You don't even realise you're doing it.

I know what you mean, went to the UK for a conference, and its odd the way one behaves in public, you are alert and aware of your surroundings, always trying to identify any suspicious individuals.
After a couple of hours doing that you realize that the only suspicious person is you. Everyone is just going about there day.

South Africa for many years have not been a tourist destination for holidays. It is a risk-seekers war-torn country adventure. 50/50 chance of getting out alive.
Well that's just plainly, clearly inaccurate.

I'm not being funny, but does this excuse of a minister realise she's just p(ssed on the dead guy by quoting the "..."Live Again" with us" line, or doesn't she realise what she said...

You will always have risk-seekers - old and young wanting to face death in the eye.

Yeah, A 67 year old tourist is looking to canyon raft, bungee jump and evade gunmen. Or was he intending to stay at a lodge and be driven around to look at fauna in the KNP?

Here's an idea - use the ministers as bodyguards and bodyshields to protect tourists?
Lindiwe in her high-heels that can walk across Nkandla's cow grates?

Now that in itself might become a tourist attraction, the okes from Europe are funny that way.

Like locking your car doors in Aussie. They look at you as if you're looney.

I bought my first house in 1983. No burglar bars, no fencing except for ranch style wooden slats. Never locked the door going shopping. Left the car outside. Only locked the door when going away. This lasted about 10 years

After 2000 it looked like a fort with walls, burglar proofing, Trellidors, gates and an alarm system. I had to unlock 4 doors and disable two alarm systems to get the car out of the garage.
