Irrelevant.

Why say three if it isn't three? This isn't something trivial like what stage of loadshedding we were in when the latest murder happened.

The same reason JvR arrived here "2000" years ago. Because these people are 1.) only concerned with numbers when it comes to how many millions of taxpayer rands are illegally pouring into their bank accounts, and 2.) they are emboldened liars who aren't used to having their BS called out.

I can only assume that she chose that figure in the hope that international news outlets would latch onto it, spread it as gospel and go unquestioned.
Why on earth she believes anything she says would go unquestioned is beyond me. If that woman says to you "good morning" check both the time and the weather.

Been to all of them at the times mentioned. Actually lived in them. Because the waterfront and Stellenbosch are tiny islands free of crime. Dare you to walk out of the heavily protected island.

Lol. Do you mean to places like Liberia, Chad, Borneo, Colombia and Sierra Leone? To name a few places I’ve lived.

Europe

Been to Borneo and Liberia. Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Rep Congo, Kenya, Angola, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and several more African countries. Safest was Botswana, Rep Congo and a bit down on the scale Namibia only due to Windhoek CBD. Elsewhere is safeish.

In Chad we were told not to walk the 200 yards to the bar/restaurant. Other than that and Borg al Arab in Egypt, I’ve felt safe pretty much everywhere in Africa. Togo and Ghana I’d live in. Zambia too.

6 years ago and seemingly still no trial.

We were in the area in March this year, stayed just outside Hazyview for a few nights before heading into Kruger Park.

On arrival at our place near Hazyview the owner warned us not to use the Numbi gate to enter the Kruger as a group of tourists with similar travel plans to us had been robbed the previous day on exit from Numbi gate and spent the night the night at his place to calm down and get the admin out the way. He also mentioned this was a persistent problem.

Point being, this incident is nothing new and it was just a matter of time before someone, sadly, got killed. The residents and operators in the area have done everything to try and get help from law enforcement but nothing is done.

The poor victims blood is on the hands of government and the minister.

If only this Sisulu thing had a brain, or at least 3 functioning brain cells. But is typical cANCer fashion it'll just spew out poorly researched garbage.
The cANCer and everything they do is a joke.

This is exactly why Bheki Cele is a useless spineless weak willed coward of a man, just like the collective cANCer. Fat Fuk piggies that just know how to slobber away at the gravy trough.

Reading through the comments -

If someone believes SA is safe for tourists, great. I have no issue with that.
Its the tourists choice to visit any country they wish, its their time and money.

Unfortunately these advisories say otherwise - disagree? Take it up with them.

I think this about sums it up

Relative to other countries - it may be safer, but then, would you want to visit those countries?
Dunno - your money your choice.

Are they saying tourists should avoid Kruger Park?
