So say you have some international cap left and your isp does 24hour resets.

Put your router into bridge mode and connect to your account. Start your international downloading (preferably off a international usenet host, you will get max speeds). Now when it comes close to your 24hour reset, open up another connection to your account and disconnect the previous connection.

You can now enjoy up to around 46hours of "uncappedness" ;)

Works like charm

Especially if you have a friend and you share the account(if you isp allowed 4 concurrent connections. Taking it to the max ;)

**ziglet - taking 2/28gb-IS to the max ;)

its when you use your router as "modem" so you make the "dial-up" connection from your pc like you would when you use to connect to the internet the old modem way...

Ah. I already connect that way though. When I try to open a second connection it says the connection is busy.

A simple disconnect and quick re-connect has the same affect. Went 6.5GB over my cap last month.:)

Using IS account, it has the same effect on initial international cap, giving you an extra 48 hours of un-cappyness. Only thing, when I look at the IS usage page, I think IS is working on ways to prevent this, seeing they are now showing current session usage too.:(

AHH, bastards :(

*EDIT: just checked, they have always shown the open sessions though only when that session is reset does it show the bandwidth usage. That meter is quite messed as a friend and i did around 50gigs in the 24hours and when time for reset came, 400mb usage had been show on the IS usage page so we were still uncapped...
