Get your favourite band to SA with Inbound Sound

Some years back I vowed never to go to anything that is organised by Big Concerts. EVER AGAIN.

If that's the case I'd suggest making it free until the first concert has transpired. If I can see the system works, then I'm way more likely to pay for the service henceforth.

Hi soar

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it.

Without going into too much detail, the idea of taking a modest fee really forms part of the commitment from the user side. The same payment details will be used for the ticket price when the event is confirmed, and this method really ensures the seriousness of commitment from the users side.

Once the website launches we will post a comprehensive FAQ section so people can read where the money goes, because we feel this is important, even if it is R15.

I assume bands that have been here but we would like to see again can be nominated as well?

If so I can think of two I want to see again. :)
Hi Toxin

Yes, of course. We don't want to dictate to people who they can select. You decide.

:)

The sign-up email box does not work and the site is ugly. The email thing goes to mailchimp and from my own experience, I know that they require at a minimum an email AND a name.

Hi

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Will contact the developer first thing in the morning to rectify.

Really cool idea and very reasonable price for the start-up. I'll be keeping a keen eye on this. Hell I may even have to go see AC/DC with Greg if it happens.

Hi

Thank you for your positive feedback.

We know some people feel uncertain about the modest fee, but it is part of the model which we really believe will yield the best results.

And results are what we are after! :)

+1 , something has to happen before people start paying

Hi Kianm

Thank you for your feedback. We are reading all of these comments and taking everything into consideration.

At the end of the day, people need to trust and believe in the concept to make it work. If that means we have to make some changes, we will do so where possible.

Have a good day

I see the response is alot friendlier here then on the article itself...
As said before I hope it work out great and that this will be successful in a big way!

Without some kind of track record to back up your ability to actually get those bands here - I think you're gonna deter a lot of people by using a pay-to-use model at the start. If numbers are what determine the likelihood of getting a band here - surely you get the numbers in first, prove that you can do as advertised, and then start charging people to use the service?

If I've seen you get a band or two here then I really couldn't care about R15 to join if it means getting to see a band I really want to see.
